Not really all that much to report. It's been a bit of a naff couple of weeks since I hurt my knee, I've not been able to get as many miles in as I'd like to each day. And of course, we are now firmly in the wet season and the temperatures are climbing - although not as fast as the humidity, which is through the roof. Get out the shower, towel off, and then do it again. And again. And a third time after you pull your knickers up, and again between each item of clothing. Yuck!
That's one big part of the reason for losing weight. I just can't cope with the humidity at all, not on top of the heat.
Anyway, I've been eating a little more and moving a little less, so the rate of loss according to Fitbit should have slowed down. I haven't tried those jeans on again since last Wednesday, it seems a little pointless really.
Had a fantastic dinner last night! Bluefish fillets with a chili/lime rub, pan fried, served on a bed of salad inside a soft flour tortilla that had been baked in a pie tin to make a crunchy bowl. Oh my goodness, it was amazingly tasty, especially drenched in chipotle ranch dressing....Freshly caught fish, too, very nice indeed. I'm pretty sure it could be lightened up, I will have to discuss with the chef (handily that would be our nephew, the boys' dad).
Wish I'd taken photos of it now, it was that good!
